Approximately half of people eligible for health insurance exchanges don't know what exchanges are, or that they're eligible. With enrollment beginning on October 1, it's all hands on deck to educate consumers on exchanges and how to enroll. The government and health plans are working together for this effort, and one of the most successful ways to connect with potential enrollees is to work with community based organizations that have established trust with members of the community.
