According to Consumer Affairs, the State of Illinois and Baxter have come to an agreement over a dispute where the company
inflated the wholesale prices used in setting the rates for Medicaid reimbursements. The case was settled for $6.8 million
and those funds have already been placed in the General Revenue Fund to pay Medicare bills. Read more
